Ha, I think Siu Yu don't mind me 搭訕 here. It's about G asking about 鄭明明 Yes, she's one of the founding members of 藝人之家 But her 出鏡率 is not only confined to the gathering of this Christian fellowship. The fact that she appears even more in the "Ball 場" and other social functions ..etc must have made Siu Yu giving her the attributes of camp、trash、kitsch ... (Haha)

Siu Yu said > 亂世桃花逐水流... and how about 未曾真過已銷魂! .. Yes, there were so many :-) In fact our own 戲曲片 in the 50s/early 60s had many good ones too . Just to list a few starring our legendary Yam Tse

Chip Tsao (Ha, he has the nickname 19 才子) had 李默 as his guest last night. Again Chip tried to bombard us with lots of names of the 60s (but he was not that accurate). Lee Mak helped to guide him through. They talked about the owners of Lee Theatre and that 對聯 entrance. One of the talking points was about the good chinese translation of foreign movies in the 60s. All Chip could remember was 無限春光在險風 and a few other famous ones. Now it got me recalling a few others which are really brilliant: The Rain People 霧雨飄飄淚兩行 The Wrong Box 入錯棺材死錯人 The heart is a lonely hunter 天涯何處覓知心 JOHN AND MARY 相逢何必曾相識 In fact the music of "The heart is a lonely hunter" by Don Grusin is a very touching and beautiful piece. It was played at the intro of the film when Alan Arkin was taking a bus for his poignant trip ...

Tastes in music and movies could change with time. I thoroughly enjoyed Truffaut's Stolen Kisses and "Bed and Board" when I watched them in my teen days in the 60s. But re-watching them on Cable TV recently found them quite ordinary and even a bit of a drag at times. The one who could withstand the passing of time must be Hitchcock. Watching his B&W movies like "The Man who knew too much" , "Rear Window" ..etc in recent days still found them exciting. I remember I enjoyed 星期日如西貝兒 in the 60s. Haven't watched it since then. Don't what I'll feel if ever I could watch it again. But I recall the music was rather poignantly moody, which suits the movie. I watched INCEPTION last week. It's a bit over-rated. BTW, the actress who acted as Edith Piath in LA VIE EN ROSE played the small part as Decaprio's wife. I didn't recognise it was her.

quite embarrassed to admit i could not sit through 《Stolen Kisses》on DVD a while ago. I am sure 《Sunday and Cybelle)cannot stand the test of time. thank god for the time being, we have no way of knowing.

reading 陶傑's article in MP daily used to be a MUST to me ages ago. but one day i found myself "enough" to him all of a sudden and stopped reading any since then. lately i heard that ppl from the net had "honoured" him a new nickname -- "19才子" which i think it suits him a lot...!
